Hi!
I’m glad you’ve found your way here and welcome to Web3b! What is Web3b, you ask? We’re a blog dedicated to helping current businesses transition from Web 2.0 to Web3.
At some point in the past you may have heard of the blockchain, cryptocurrency or NFTs. All of these new technologies fall under the umbrella that is Web3.
As our world begins to shift into the new age of the internet, I felt it would be a remarkable time to help assist businesses that rely on older software to transition into new solutions that will save them time and money.
A little about me, I grew up determined to be a designer. My dad is one and so is my aunt. I was the kid with multiple boxes of Legos and coming up with new things to build always brought me an immense amount of joy.
Fast forward to going to school and I focused on drafting and industrial design. However after school, I found myself moving towards furniture. I loved the usability of it but the possibilities of what it had to look like were almost boundless so I began modelling chairs, tables and other pieces you could put in your home.
I relocated to a city with a very strong design influence and continued my passion for it there but had to focus on some other things that took precedent.
That lead me to B2B sales where I developed a knack for helping businesses grow by providing sales and marketing software and services. And as time went on I found myself learning an incredible amount about how companies collect and organize data, run processes, manage teams etc.
While at many of these companies, my coworkers would discuss their latest crypto gains which got me into investing. After I began to learn about the ledger crypto functions on, the blockchain, and how that expanded into technologies like smart contracts, Defi, dApps, tokenization with Web3 as an idea sitting in the center of this labyrinth, I started to see how this was going to change everything in the next decade.
And so I felt this would be a great time to help assist SMEs, the small, medium and enterprise companies I had worked with in the past to migrate from some of the older software we had grown accustomed to and implement these pillars of Web3 to run in the background of their businesses so they can focus on what’s most important.
So welcome to Web3b! My goal is to help you learn, grow and ultimately being to ingratiate some Web3 practices into your daily life.
