Web3? What even is that?

Web3 is just an umbrella term for a group of technologies. Some of those technologies include the blockchain, cryptocurrencies, smart contracts, NFTs, artificial intelligence, and many more. You may have already heard of some of these applications like cryptocurrency from the last Bitcoin boom in 2021 or artificial intelligence used for ChatGPT. It’s just a name that encapsulates all of those technologies.

So what about you? Who are you?

I’m Marcel! I wanted to be a car designer so I went to school for Industrial Design but life took me in lots of other different directions and I ended up in business development. Since 2017 I’ve worked in marketing, advertising, fintech, and even brokered digital transformation projects with enterprise companies. I learned an extraordinary amount about growing businesses and emerging technologies, which led me to the Web 3 space. I think it’s going to be an integral component in how companies interact both internally and externally, so I wanted to share my thoughts and make this a useful resource for businesses looking to transition.

I hope, more than anything, that you learn something. Our singular focus is creating an atmosphere for curiosity and a desire to amass knowledge that can help your business.
